This Privacy Policy explains how Find AZ handles your information. Find AZ is operated by OEG Consulting Pvt Ltd (“Find AZ”, “we”, “us”). It applies to the Find AZ website, account dashboard, and web account service. By using Find AZ, you agree to the practices described here.

Your files stay on your device

Find AZ is built for local desktop search. File indexing and search run on your device. The contents of your files, and the index Find AZ builds from them, are not uploaded to Find AZ services and are not accessible to us.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name and email address when you create an account or sign in.
• Google Sign-In data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information (the standard email, profile, and openid scopes). We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service data.
• Billing information — plan, license, and payment status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
• Usage and analytics data — how you interact with the website and dashboard, collected through product and web analytics.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and security logs used to operate the service and prevent abuse.
• Support communications — messages you send us and related account details.

How we use your information

• Create and manage your account, trial, and license.
• Process payments, renewals, and refunds.
• Send account, security, and transactional notifications.
• Provide support and respond to your requests.
• Send product and marketing updates where you have opted in, and where you can opt out at any time.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.
• Improve the product using aggregated and analytics data.

Service providers we share data with

We share limited information with trusted providers who process it on our behalf, only as needed to run Find AZ:

• Stripe — payment and billing processing.
• Google — Google Sign-In and website analytics.
• Hostinger — web hosting, database, and outbound email (SMTP).
• Cloudflare — content delivery, security, and abuse protection.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Zoho CRM — managing account and customer records.
• Zoho Campaigns — sending marketing and product update emails.

We do not sell your personal information. We only disclose it otherwise when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Find AZ and its users.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the service is used through Google Analytics and PostHog. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain it.

Children

Find AZ is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
