Focused scope
Find AZ does one thing: find files by what's inside them. Every feature decision is weighed against that focus. We won't add features that dilute it.
Find AZ started with a practical frustration — spending time digging through folders for a document saved weeks ago. We built the tool we wanted ourselves, kept it focused on doing one thing well, and made sure it never sends your files anywhere.
The team behind Find AZ also builds Oracle ERP Guide — software tools for enterprise document-heavy workflows. We watched professionals spend hours digging through folders for files they'd already saved, re-downloading email attachments, and copying documents between systems just to be able to search them.
The answer we kept reaching for was a fast, local desktop tool that could look inside PDFs, scanned images, and video captions — without a cloud upload, a subscription service, or an enterprise contract. Find AZ is that tool.

File content, search indexes, and history stay on your machine. That is a design constraint, not just a promise — the app has no server to send them to.
Support requests and product decisions are handled directly by the people building Find AZ. No helpdesk queue, no intermediaries.
Defines scope, pricing, and what ships next — guided by real user feedback after launch, not a product brief written before it.
Builds the desktop app, license system, account flow, and release pipeline across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Handles installation questions, license issues, and bug reports directly from users — often the same day.
The current release is intentionally narrow: reliable local search for documents, images, and video captions across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Based on early user feedback, the roadmap includes expanded format support, team license management, and richer filter controls.
Real usage is the best signal we have. If you hit a limit or want a feature that matters to your workflow, the fastest way to influence what ships next is to tell us directly.
